“Allah’s Messenger was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Jibril (as) met him. Jibril (as) used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur’an. Allah’s Messenger was the most generous person, even more generous than the fair winds.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî].
“Every deeds of men will be rewarded as equals, until 700 hundred folds of it. Allah the Noble and Almighty decreed: ‘But fasting, because fasting is done for Me and I am the One Who will reward it.’” [Sahîh Muslim].
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim].
Alhamdulillah work is underway to complete the top floor of City Jami’ Masjid (Jamia Islamia), Manchester. Please donate generously so we can complete this work as soon as possible.

The first fast of Ramadhan will be tomorrow, Sunday 29th June insha’Allah.
Taraweeh will be held at both The Islamic Academy of Manchester (19 Chorlton Terrace, off Upper Brook St, M13 9AJ and City Jami’ Masjid (Jamia Islamia, entrance via 118 South St, M12 4DT). There are facilities for sisters at both venues. Esha Jamaat will be at 11 PM at both venues.

Eid al-Fitr salah will take place tomorrow, Friday 9th August 2013.
At the Islamic Academy the first jamaat will be at 8 am and the second at 10 am.
At Jamia Islamia there will be one jamaat only at 9 am. Note there is additional parking which can accommodate 100 cars in the adjacent Daisy Mill car park (entrance via Stockport Road).
